We host Dutch and English D&D sessions every Wednesday and each 3rd Saturday of the month. Every other Wednesday we will have a few tables running a rerun session of our Main adventure, and a few tables running whatever our DMs want to prepare. We meet at The Worlds’ End Comics (WEC), located at Ketelvest 51 in Gent at 19h in the evening and will play until around 23h. Events will be posted on Discord, Facebook and on dnd.gent with a registration form.
We provide everything you don’t, but here’s the list:
We allow all books published by Wizards of the Coast, from which you can combine all player options. You can use a standard array or point-buy to determine your stats; or you can roll your stats at the table if your Dungeon Master allows it.
The level of your character will be posted on the event description of every session. If you are playing the Humblewood campaign, the Humblewood source books by Hit Point Press are also allowed.
NOTE: By default tables this year will use the updated 2024 rules. If you wish to use a now “legacy” option, you will have to ask your DM.
All book spublished by Wizards of the Coast books that contain races, classes and background options for player characters are allowed.
The most commonly used books in character creation are the Player’s Handbook (2024), Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything, Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse, and Eberron: Forge of the Artificer.
For only the Humblewood Campaign are the Humblewood sources, including Humblewood Campaign Setting, Humblewood Tales, and Humblewood: Beyond the Canopy are also allowed. No other Hit Point Press content is allowed.
The following exceptions apply:
You may have noticed that Backgrounds updated to 2024 include an Origin Feat and 3 stat points. If for some reason you choose to use a background that does not include these (say the Humblewood backgrounds), then you may:
You can print a premade character from DnD Beyond.
We also always have pre-gen characters available so you can start playing right away!
This year we are playing the campaigns in the Humblewood setting Book!
Upon reaching level 8 or whenever you play a new character that starts at level 8 or higher, you gain 2000 gold pieces (for spell components with a gold cost and in-game bribery) and can select any items from the following list for free (See the Equipment chapter in the Player’s Handbook for tables and descriptions):
Additionally, you may choose one of the following magic items:
Consider all these items free of charge, and keep your purchases within reason. DM has final say over what is and isn’t allowed.
You can ask in our Facebook group, or message Bram Verlez, Solas, or Tanner Rawlings on Discord (They can be found in the Bugbear and High Overtroll Roles in the sidebar)
Our most important priority is that everyone has fun and feels welcome. If you have any issues, feel free to approach Bram Verlez, Solas, or Tanner Rawlings during a session. You can also send any of them a quick message on Discord or Facebook. We love feedback, and we want to do whatever it takes to help you with any troubles or problems.
If a DM has a full signup, you may request them in the notes. We make an effort to keep groups who wish to play together together if possible.
If you wish to sit with your friends it is best to sign up early and together and all select the same DM. Additionally, mention in your Notes every person you wish to sit with. With larger groups it becomes more difficult for us to arrange this, especially if individuals sign up for the wrong dm, or very late.
Although it is best to ensure your info is correct before submitting, if there is an error you can inform us (Meaning, if possible, Solas) of it and we will take it into account when arranging the tables.
We understand that sometimes plans change. If for any reason you will no longer be attending please inform us at the soonest convenience so that we can allow another player to join for the week.
If either of these are what you need please gather these things:
Message Solas with this information, and it will be looked into. Please keep in mind that we must respect the wishes of all participants, so not every request is possible. Also, if you have special needs or requests please first put them in the notes of your sign up form, as contacting Solas like this is supposed to be only a backup.
